An Awareness Raising Programme, aimed at fostering a clean and ethical public service, was held for employees at the Postal Department Headquarters on 7 July 2025. The event took place in the Headquarters auditorium, with the Postmaster General, Mr. Ruwan Sathkumara, along with Executive Officers, Staff Grade Officers, and other staff members in attendance.
Assistant Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, Ms. Thanuja Bandara, and Prevention Officer Mrs. Chamodi Jayasinghe shared their expertise with the participants on the new Anti-Corruption Act and ways to prevent bribery and corruption. They also briefed the audience on the consequences of bribery and corruption and discussed the concept of integrity. Before concluding, they responded to questions raised by the audience.
