Arrest of a former Opposition Leader/ Chairman of a Pradeshiya Sabha for obtaining a bribe of Rs.100,000/-

The former Opposition Leader/ Chairman of a Pradeshiya Sabha has been apprehended by the Investigation Officers of CIABOC on 16.08.2017 when obtaining a bribe of Rs.100,000/- solicited to get the approval for a plan of a land of the complainant by getting assistance of the officers of Pradeshiya Sabha.
