CIABOC has indicted three Police Officers attached to the Hambegamuwa Police Station

CIABOC has indicted a Police Sergeant and two Police Constables attached to the Hambegamuwa Police Station.

This Police Sergeant had solicited and accepted Rs. 20,000 from villagers in that area. The solicitation and the acceptance were made to refrain from filling actions against those villages for illegal mining of gems.
The two constables were charged for aiding and abetting.
