A Receiving Officer of Supplies and Services Division of the Parliament arrested for accepting a bribe of Rs.60,000/-

Refer to a complaint received, the Investigation Officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption have arrested a Receiving Officer of Supplies and Services Division of the Parliament on 03.09.2020 for accepting a bribe of Rs.60,000/-.

The suspect has solicited the bribe of Rs.60, 000/- to abstain from rejecting a part of fruits supplied daily to the Parliament by the complainant claiming to be unsuitable for consuming.
