The Investigation Officers of CIABOC have arrested the Chairman of the Pradeshiya Sabha, Mawanella and a Driver serves at the same on an alleged solicitation and acceptance of a bribe of Rs. 2 Milion on 13.01.2023 in accordance with a complaint received to the CIABOC.

The Investigation Officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption have arrested a Range Forest Officer who was assigned to the Department of Forest Conservation on an allegation of soliciting and accepting a KDK ceiling fan worth Rs.31,680/= as a bribe on 23.12.2022 in accordance with a complaint received by the Bribery Commission.

The Investigation Officers of CIABOC have arrested a land officer of Yaya 10,11,12 office assigned to Rajanganaya Divisional Secretariat on alleged soliciting and accepting a bribe of Rs. 30,000/= on 05.10.2022 in accordance with a complaint received to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.

The Investigation Officers of CIABOC have arrested the Grama Niladhari of No:333, Kusumpura Grama Niladhari division who has been assigned to Divisional Secretariat, Nochchiyagama on alleged soliciting and accepting a bribe of Rs. 10,000/= on 22.09.2022 in accordance with a complaint received by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
