Anti – Corruption Awareness Programs for Public servants in Mannar & Jaffna Districts

Jaffna photo 3Public Sector Prevention Unit of CIABOC organized two programs for public servants of Mannar & Jaffna districts, regarding the eradication of Bribery & Corruption.
One program was held on 2019.09.05 at the auditorium of Mannar District Secretariat Office. Nearly 110 public servants such as Divisional Secretaries, Assistant Divisional Secretaries, Accountants, Development Officers, Grama Niladaries, Land Officers, Land Officers, Labour Officers and Samurdi Officers participated for the program. In this program, Mannar - Additional District Secretary : Mr Gunapalan delivered a speech about Bribery & Corruption in the public sector.

The other program was held on 2019.09.06 at the auditorium of Jaffna district Secretariat Office. The District Secretary Mr. Vethanayaham welcomed the CIABOC officers who participated for this program. In his speech, his views regarding the Anti-corruption were expresses before the gathering. The program was held with the participation of more than 100 public servants including Divisional Secretaries, Assistant Divisional Secretaries, Accountants, Development Officers, Grama Niladaries, Land Officers, Land Officers, Labour Officers and Samurdi Officers.

The presentations of these two programs were conducted in Tamil medium, because the participants were the Tamil speaking community.
These two programs were conducted by the team consisting from Sakitha Wickramaratne – Assistant Director (Legal), SI – Kariyappar, SI – Ajith, PC – Irfan, WPS – Kaleimadi and Vidusha.
