Three Police Officers attached to the Traffic Division of Polgahawela Police Station were taken into custody on 14.12.2017 by the Investigation Officers of CIABOC when obtaining a bribe of Rs.3,000/-.

The Officer served Court duties of Polgahawela Police Station and two other officers have been taken in to custody when obtaining a bribe of Rs.3000/- after having obtained a sum of Rs.2000/- earlier of the total amount of solicited bribe of Rs; 5000/- to take necessary arrangements to release a driving license that has been taken into custody in related to an accident.

These suspects were taken into custody at the Traffic Division of Polgahawela Police Station and sent to remand prison until 20.12.2017 having produced before the Magistrates Court Kurunagala .
