This program was organized by the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, and the Minister of Health and Mass Media, Hon. Nalinda Jayatissa, Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, Ms. Chandima Wickramasinghe, Additional Secretary of the President Secretariat ,Senior Assistant Secretary of the President Secretariat Mr. T.N. Amon, Additional Secretaries of the Ministry, Heads of the all institutions under the purview of the Ministry, all Executive Officers, and other officers were participated. This event was held on 12th February 2026 at the Auditorium of the National Blood Transfusion Centre Colombo. This program was organized by the support of the Ministry's Internal Affairs Unit and Mr. Sampath Arachchige, Corruption Prevention Officer of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), provided resources for this program. Through this program, awareness was raised about the Anti-Corruption Act No. 09 of 2023, the new legal provisions related to bribery, corruption and the accumulation of illicit assets and the concept of compliance, the efficiency, effectiveness and responsibility of the public servant, the problems they have in this regard, and the role of the Internal Affairs Unit.
The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Securities and Exchange Commission, conducted a Bribery and Corruption Prevention Programme for the Securities Commission officers on 19 December 2025. The programme was held in the auditorium of the National Foundation Institute, and was attended by approximately 250 officers.
The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, in collaboration with the People’s Bank, conducted a Bribery and Corruption Prevention Programme for officers of the Bank on 19 January 2026. The programme was held in the main auditorium of the Bank with the participation of nearly 245 officers, including the Chairman.
This program was organized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, under the leadership of the Secretary to the Ministry, Mr. Aruna Bandara, and attended by the Additional Secretaries of the Ministry, all Executive Officers, and other officers. The program was held at the Duncan White Auditorium of the Ministry on 4th and 21th November 2025.
The Institute of Town Planners Sri Lanka (ITPSL) is conducting the Part III Examination program to prepare and groom future Town Planners in Sri Lanka. As part of Competency 03 of the program a workshop is scheduled on 21st September 2025 at the ITPSL Auditorium on the theme “Role of Young Town Planning Professionals towards a Country free from Bribery and Corruption”.
The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) conducted a comprehensive awareness session on September 16, 2025, at the Airport & Aviation Services main auditorium in Katunayake. The session focused on proper complaint lodging procedures regarding bribery and corruption, prevention strategies, and systemic reforms in middle management operational areas.
The Bribery and Corruption Prevention Programme, conducted for officers at the Wanduramba Divisional Secretariat, concluded successfully on 26 August 2025. The programme was held in their office auditorium, and over 120 officers attended it. Resource persons from the Commission, Ms. Nipuni Koshila Tennakoon (Prevention Officer) and Mrs. N. Vimuththi Jayasuriya (Prevention Officer), who educated the attendees, provided valuable insights into the consequences of bribery and corruption as well as measures to prevent them. They also explained the concept of Integrity and discussed the new Anti-Corruption Act. Lastly, they addressed the concerns attendees had regarding the issue.
Another Bribery and Corruption Prevention Programme intended for officers of the Dangerous Drugs Control Board was successfully held on 6th August 2025, at their regional office in Galle. All officers attached to the regional office attended the programme. Prevention Officers of the Commission, Mrs. Chamodi Jayasinghe and Mrs. Eranga Madhushi, who educated the attendees, provided valuable insights into the consequences of bribery and corruption and instructed them on how to prevent these issues. They also discussed the new Anti-Corruption Act, with special emphasis on bribery, corruption, the illegal accumulation of assets, and the declaration of assets and liabilities. Additionally, they explained the Corruption Perception Index and the concept of Integrity.
The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, in collaboration with the Ceylon Electricity Board, conducts a series of Bribery and Corruption Prevention Programmes for its employees. Accordingly, a programme was conducted on 30 th and 31 st July 2025 for CEB officers of the Sabaragamuwa Province. It was held in the auditorium of the Education Centre at Pussella, and nearly 118 employees attended it.
The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption conducted a Bribery and Corruption Prevention Programme for medical, nursing, paramedical and non-academic staff of the Apeksha Hospital on June 17, 2025. The programme was held in the hospital’s main auditorium.
The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption conducted a Bribery and Corruption Prevention Programme for all the Principals in the Wattegama Educational Zone on July 24, 2025. The programme was held in the Kengalla Central College auditorium.
