At the invitation of the Meerigama Pradeshiya Sabha, CIABOC conducted a Bribery and Corruption Prevention Programme for officers of the Pradeshiya Sabha on 19th March 2025. It was held in the Pradeshiya Sabha auditorium with the participation of about 70 officers.

Prevention Officer Mr. Shammi Srilal, attached to the Prevention Unit of the Commission, enlightened the participants on preventing bribery and corruption, their repercussions, the Concept of Integrity and the New Anti-Corruption Act. Before winding up the session, the Officer discussed the problems attendees had in that regard.
