On 18^th March, the CIABOC arrested the Unit Manager of Ranamayura Pura Unit – Mahaweli Authority for accepting a sum of Rs.300,000 in order to issue an irrigation license to the complainant.

The Investigation Officers of the Raid Unit of the CIABOC successfully carried out a raid on 26^th of February 2016 and took into custody a Technical Officer, Municipal Council, Galle, whilst accepting a gratification of a sum Rs.20000 from complainant to grant approval for a plan for house construction.

The Investigation Officers of the CIABOC successfully carried out a raid on 24^th of February 2016 and took into custody the Principal of Sangabodhi Vidyalaya, Nittambuwa, whilst accepting a gratification of a sum Rs.50000 from complainant, to admit a child from Yakkala Anura Maha Vidyalaya to his School.

The Investigation Officers of the Raid Unit of the CIABOC successfully carried out a raid on 11^th of February 2016 and took into custody the Office Assistant of the Department of Motor Traffic, Kurunegala District whilst accepting a gratification of a sum Rs.1000 from complainant to provide the registration number plate without delay.

The Investigation Officers of the Raid Unit of the CIABOC successfully carried out a raid on 11^th of February 2016 and took into custody a Sub Inspector and a Police Sergeant of Ruwanwella Police whilst accepting a gratification of a sum Rs.3500 from complainant to permit the Complainant to transport sand without harassment.

The Investigation officers of the Raid Unit of the CIABOC successfully carried out a raid on 01^st of February 2016, and took into custody a Fisheries Inspector of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Recourses, Jaffna District whilst accepting a gratification of a sum Rs.12,000 from complainant to provide complainant with fishing nets and other equipment.

The Investigation officers of the Raid Unit of the CIABOC successfully carried out a raid on 21^st of January 2016 and took into custody the Principal of the Mahanaga Maha Vidyalaya, Ranwala, Kegalle whilst accepting a gratification of a sum Rs.60,000 from complainant to admit a child to school.

The Investigation officers of the Raid Unit of the CIABOC successfully carried out a raid on 20^th of January 2016 at the Sevamuktha Kandavura Maha Vidyalaya, Polonnaruwa and took into custody the Principal of the School, whilst accepting a gratification of a sum Rs.7500 from complainant, to admit a child to school.
