The Investigation Officers of CIABOC have arrested a Land Officer at Eravur Pattu Divisional Secretariat , Chenkalady on  22.12.2021 on alleged soliciting and accepting a bribe of Rs.100,000/=  in accordance with a complaint received to the Bribery Commission.

The suspect who is residing at Arayampathy area in Batticaloa was thus arrested when he had solicited and obtained the said bribe in order to take necessary actions to prepare a deed.
