A Corruption Prevention Programme was conducted on 16.03.2023 for 47 Police Constables promoted to the rank of Police Sergeant at Kallady Police Training College. Chief Inspector of Police, Mr. G. Abesinghe, Prevention Officers, Ms. N. Wimukthi Jayasooriya and Mr. Sampath Arachchige provided the resource contribution for the programme.

Officer-in-Charge of Diyasenpura Sub-Depot who solicited Rs. 60,000.00 (Sixty Thousand) was arrested on allegations of bribe. Officer-in-charge of Diyasenpura Sri Lanka Transport Board sub-depot was arrested by the Investigation Officers of Commission to 24 August 2023

A Police Constable attached to Theldeniya Division Crime Investigation Unit who solicited and accepted a bribe of Rs. 5,000/- (Five Thousand) and a Sergeant aided it were arrested on allegations of Bribery 22 August 2023

On 11/01/2023 a five-judge bench of the Supreme Court unanimously upheld the Colombo High Court Trial at Bar verdict pronounced on 19th December 2019 on former President’s Chief of Staff I.H.K. Mahanama and former Chairman of State Timber Corporation P. D 12 January 2023

An accused pleaded guilty before the courts. 22 March 2022

The High Court of Colombo has imposed 14 Years Rigorous Imprisonment for a Labour Officer attached to Mathara District Labour Office for soliciting and accepting a gratification 14 August 2021

Management Assistant Pleaded Guilty for a Bribe of Rs. 20,000/- 26 March 2021
