The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has served an indictment at the High Court, Colombo today, against Piyath Bandu Wikrama Muni, former Chairman, R.B. Sanjaya Kumara, former Container Operation Machine Equipment Operator, and R.C.W.M. Nihal Keppetipola, former Managing Director of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority.

The above accused were charged under Section 70 of the Bribery Act for employing three hundred and nineteen (319) employees of the Ports Authority, outside of their regular official duties and paying them salary and overtime from the funds of Sri Lanka Ports Authority to campaign for candidate Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Presidential Elections 2015.
