Another awareness programme on combatting bribery and corruption was conducted on 15.02. 2024 with the objective of moving Sri Lanka towards integrity, and officers of the Colombo Municipal Council were the target group of the present awareness programme.

Colombo Municipal Council is among the oldest Local Government bodies in Sri Lanka, and the awareness programme was conducted for its Executive Grade officers. Areas such as the legal framework in relation to bribery and corruption and the concept of integrity were covered here with activities. Mrs. Anusha Sammandapperuma, Assistant Director (Legal), and Miss. Nipuni Tennakoon (Prevention Officer) were the resource persons of the programme.
