The accused was convicted on 09/08/2018 by Hon H.C.J. Vikum Kaluarachchi for accepting a bribe of Rs. 3000.00 as a public servant Udaya Kumara Wannipura to issue the copy of the order of Case no 49511. Suspect was imposed two year Rigorous Imprisonment for the charge as well as a fine Rs. 4000 in default of the fine 8months simple imprisonment will be imposed. A penalty of Rs. 3000 was imposed in accordance with the section 26 A. In default of the same 6 months simple imprisonment will be imposed. This case was prosecuted by Ganga Heiyanthuduwa (Assistant Director General –CIABOC)
