Actions are being taken to launch the National Action Plan for combating Bribery and Corruption which has been a long time requirement of the country.

In order to avail ideas and views of general public and senior official to this national plan, nearly 30 consultation programs were held island wide in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Administration and Management and the assistance of USAID. The workshop under this programme organized for the Members of Parliament was held recently at the Parliament premises with the participation of senior public officers as well. The National Action Plant to combat Bribery and Corruption is scheduled to be launched on the National Anti-corruption Day on 09th December 2018 under the patronage of H.E. the President of Sri Lanka.
