According to a complaint made by a female resident of Eheliyagodawatta, Eheliyagoda, the Principal of a Tamil medium school has solicited Rs. 50,000 from her to grant her the tender for the supply of student’s breakfast for two months, i.e., for March and April 2024, which is given on a government policy decision, and to make the payment for it after recommending the food quality. The suspect has initially accepted Rs. 20,000/- and was arrested by the CIABOC Investigation Officers at around 12.43 on 21.05.2024 while accepting the balance of Rs. 30,000/-
