On 02.06.2017, the Investigation Officers of CIABOC have arrested the Grama Niladhari attached to the Galle Four Gravets Divisional Secretariat when obtaining a bribe of Rs.45,000/- solicited to register the complainant and his wife in the electoral register.

On 18.05.2017, the Investigation Officers of CIABOC have arrested a Colonization Officer attached to the Divisional Secretariat - Ampara when obtaining a bribe of Rs.5,000/- reduced from the originally solicited amount of Rs.10,000/- to make arrangements to the complainant to legally tenure a paddy land which the complainant had enjoyed without permission and subsequently prohibited.

The Investigation Officers of CIABOC have apprehended a Police Constable on 18.05.2017 for soliciting a bribe of Rs.60,000/- reduced from the originally solicited amount of Rs.120,000/- to abstain from taking legal actions against a complaint which said to have received regarding the dissimilarity of chassis number and the engine number of the Lorry owned by the complainant.

The Investigation Officers of CIABOC have arrested a Field Labour Officer and an Office Assistant on 04.04.2017 when obtaining a bribe of Rs.8,000/- from the complainant to issue a Street line Certificate and Non-vesting Certificate for a land belonged to the complainant in the Urban Council area of Boralesgamuwa.

On 27.03.2017, the Investigation officers of CIABOC have arrested a Labour Officer attached to a Labour Office when obtaining a bribe of Rs.30,000/- as the first instalment of the total solicited amount of Rs.60,000/- to make arrangements to reduce the fine and to abstain from taking legal action for non-payment of Employees Provident Fund for two employees of a private company.

On 23.03.2017, the Investigation Officers of CIABOC have arrested an Overseer of Pradeshiya Sabha in Polonnaruwa District when obtaining a bribe of Rs.10,000/- of the total solicited amount of Rs.50,000/- to reserve a shop space of the shopping complex constructed by the Pradeshiya Sbaha.

2 years imprisonment for a Watcher attached to the Zonal Education Office – Kegalle.

The Investigation Officers of the Raid Unit of CIABOC carried out a successful detection on 16^th August 2016 and apprehended the suspects for soliciting and accepting a gratification of Rs.150,000.00 from the complainant to CIABOC to help out the latter to submit a new building plan and thereby avoid paying the fine imposed for the earlier building plan which had not been properly approved.

The Investigation Officers of the Raid Unit of CIABOC successfully carried out a detection on the 15^th of July 2016 and apprehended the suspect whist accepting a gratification of Rs.2750 from complainant to CIABOC, (the dancing teacher who had gone on transfer to a new school), to sign official letters for her to be submitted to the principal of the new school.

The Investigation Officers of the Raid Unit of CIABOC carried out a successful detection on the 15^th July 2016 and apprehended the suspect whilst accepting a gratification of Rs.4500 from the complainant to CIABOC to reduce the maintenance amount payable by him in the maintenance case filed against him in the DC/MC Puttalam.
