The final day of the Renaissance Week of Sri Lanka Mahaweli Authority System G (i.e., the Moragahakanda zone) was named “The Productivity Day of Employees Who Line Up to Provide a Satisfactory Service” and was reserved for an awareness programme on bribery and corruption. The Renaissance Week started on 24th February 2025 ended on 02nd March and was organized under the Clean Sri Lanka National Programme, themed “A Rich Country- A Beautiful Life”. Around 120 employees of Mahaweli System G attended the awareness programme held in the Mahaweli Authority auditorium in Moragahakanda. As the resource persons of the programme, Prevention Officers of the Commission, Mr. Shammi Srilal and Mrs. Udeshika Jayasekara made the participants aware of the Repercussions of bribery and corruption, preventing bribery and corruption, the Concept of Integrity and the New Anti-Corruption Act. They also discussed the problems they have in that regard.
