System D of the Sri Lanka Mahaweli Authority (i.e., the Medirigiriya zone) organized a Renaissance Week under the Clean Sri Lanka National Programme themed “A Rich Country- A Beautiful Life”, and 03rd March 2025 of the week was named “The Productivity Day of Employees Who Line Up to Provide a Satisfactory Service” and was attended by nearly 100 employees of the System.

The programme was held in the Medirigiriya Mahaweli Authority auditorium and was intended to conduct an awareness raising programme on Bribery and Corruption. Prevention Officers of the Commission, Mr. Shammi Srilal and Mrs. Udeshika Jayasekara, made the participants aware of the repercussions of bribery and corruption, preventing bribery and corruption, the Concept of Integrity and the New Anti-Corruption Act. They also discussed the issues participants had in that regard.
