Sri Lanka Mahaweli Authority’s System B (i.e. Welikanda) organized a Renaissance Week under the Clean Sri Lanka National Programme themed “A Rich Country- A Beautiful Life”, and 04th March 2025 of the week was named “The Productivity Day of Employees Who Line Up to Provide a Satisfactory Service” and was attended by nearly 170 employees of the System.

It was held in the Mahaweli System B auditorium, and the Day was reserved to conduct a Corruption Prevention Programme. Prevention Officers of the Commission, Mr. Shammi Srilal and Mrs. Udeshika Jayasekara, made the participants aware of the repercussions of bribery and corruption, preventing bribery and corruption, the Concept of Integrity and the New Anti-Corruption Act. They also discussed the issues participants had in that regard.
