With the aim of bringing in amendments to the Declaration of Assets and Liabilities Law, No.1 of 1975 the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) held a three-day roundtable discussion on 14^th, 15^th and 16^th of March, 2018 at CIABOC.

The forum was attended by senior officials from stake holding government agencies and the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). International policies such as provisions in the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) and the global best practices on Income and Asset Disclosure (IAD) systems were discussed at the forum extensively. Lengthy discussions were taken place as to the suggestions on the requisite amendments to the domestic law. This was a joint effort of CIABOC and the Stolen Assets Recovery Initiative (StAR), World Bank (WB).
