The corruption prevention programme aimed at combatting bribery and corruption in Sri Lanka was held for newly recruited Grama Nildhari Officers of Anuradhapura district on 24th July 2024.

During the programme, participants were made aware of themes such as integrity, the new Anti-Corruption Act, the Corruption Perception Index and the harmful consequences of bribery and corruption. Anuradhapura District Additional District Secretary (Admin.) Mrs. W. S. P. Wickramarachchi and Assistant District Secretary Mr. Prasanna Yasaratne were also present here. Prevention Officers Mr. Shilamegha Welithotage and Ms. T. M. Nipuni Koshila Tennakoon provided the resource contribution for the programme.
