Freezing Order extended for 03 months-Frozen fixed deposits and life insurance policies of former Health Minister Keheliya Rambuwella’s family members

The High Court took action to extend the freezing order Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption issued on the fixed deposits worth Rs. 97.125 Mn in a private bank and life insurance policies belonging to former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella’s wife, three daughters and one son-in-law, until 04.10.2024.

Colombo High Court 06 Judge Manjula Tilakeratne issued this freezing order on the request of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption. The Commission is to conduct further investigations.
