In terms of the powers vsted under the New Anti-Corruption Act, indictments served in the High Court against an OIC for solicitng sexual bribe

Based on a complaint received, the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, on 01.10.2024, filed indictments in the Colombo High Court against Liyana Pathirennelage Nalinda Upul Pathirana, Officer-in-Charge of the Vanathawilluwa Police Station for soliciting a sexual bribe.
